GOSSIP - Clamoroso al Cibali! Isaiah Washington accusa: "fatto fuori da 'Grey's Anatomy' per razzismo...e Shonda Rhimes lo sapeva!"

News tratta da "TMZ"
Isaiah Washington insists he was ousted from "Grey's Anatomy" in 2007 over false accusations fueled by an allegedly racist ABC exec ... and he says Shonda Rhimes knows it too, and has his back. The actor tells us Shonda -- creator and exec producer of 'Grey's' -- has "nothing good to say" about ABC or its exec VP, Howard Davine. He also says Shonda believes Davine should be investigated for his "racist, biased behavior." What Isaiah's suggesting is pretty explosive. First, that the stories about him making homophobic comments on the 'Grey's' set were lies to get him blackballed in Hollywood. Second, Shonda, the queen of TGIT, taking a stand against ABC says a lot. She's the network's biggest content creator, and if she's calling out one of its execs ... y'know she's pissed. Isaiah says a whistleblower tipped him off to Davine's alleged actions, and now he's hoping the Time's Up movement or others get on board with his fight. We've reached out to Shonda's office several times, but so far no word back.

Before hanging out on a sex boat with a lion, Christopher Eccleston played the eponymous Doctor on Doctor Who for all of one season. But what a season! By 2005, the British science-fiction show had been off the air for 16 years (not including the 1996 made-for-television movie), but under the guidance of Russell T. Davies and with strong performances from Eccleston, whose Ninth Doctor was portrayed as more intellectual than his predecessors, and companion Billie Piper, the new Doctor Who was an immediate hit. So, it came as quite the surprise when the actor left after only 13 episodes. Eccleston has remained mostly silent on his exit (other than distancing himself from a statement the BBC — whom he claimed “blacklisted” him — released in his name), but the actor finally opened up in an interview with the Radio Times. My relationship with my three immediate superiors – the showrunner, the producer, and co-producer – broke down irreparably during the first block of filming and it never recovered,” he said. “They lost trust in me, and I lost faith and trust and belief in them.” Eccleston explained that his anger “came from my own insecurity. They employed somebody who was not a natural light comedian. [Billie Piper], who we know was and is brilliant, was very, very nervous and very, very inexperienced. You had that, and then you had me. Very, very experienced, possibly the most experienced on it, but out of my comfort zone.”As for why he’s only speaking up now, 13 years after departing, Eccleston revealed a promise he made to Davies. “When I left, I gave my word to Russell T. Davies that I wouldn’t do anything to damage the show,” he said. “But they did things to damage me. I didn’t criticize anybody.” Thankfully, things worked out: Doctor Who found another A+ Time Lord in David Tennant, and Eccleston had a starring role in one of the best dramas of the decade.

No one, outside of Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos and maybe the company janitor who’s also an undercover hacker knows how popular Stranger Things is, outside of “very.” The company is that guarded about its ratings. So, it’s always a little surprising when specific numbers are attached to any Netflix series, especially the streaming service’s (presumably) biggest hit. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Stranger Things cast is getting a massive pay bump in season three, with the young cast earning 12 times their previous salaries.
According to sources, the main actors are divided into different pay tiers. Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper) make up the “A tier” and are making up to $350,000 an episode. The “B tier” consists of the young stars — Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Noah Schnapp (Will) — who are each collecting $250,000 per episode. Meanwhile, the actors in the “C tier” — onscreen teenagers Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) and Joe Keery (Steve) — are each pocketing roughly $150,000 an episode. (Via)
In previous seasons, Ryder and Harbour were paid $100,000 and $80,000 an episode, respectively, while the kids earned somewhere in the low $20,000s. For comparison’s sake: five stars on Game of Thrones Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau — make $500,000 per episode. That’s more than Stranger Things‘ “A tier” cast, but Thrones has fewer episodes per season; season seven was seven episodes long, compared to nine for season two of Stranger Things. Also, if you’re wondering why breakout Millie Bobbie Brown isn’t listed in the “A” or “B” tier, that’s because “her camp has been tight-lipped throughout the dealmaking process.” Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at her contract negotiations.

NEWS - Da "Sex and the City" alla Casa Bianca?

David Tennant, former star of Doctor Who and your dreams about being married to Doctor Who, has signed on to the new HBO series Camping from Girls duo Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner. The actor is set to play Walt, the husband of co-star Jennifer Garner’s Kathryn. The story revolves around Walt’s birthday camping trip, where tension builds, as it often does when people have to sleep outside. Walt’s character is said to be obedient and loving, but also, gasp (!) secretly unhappy. Could it be the tent? The mosquitos? The campfire smoke that seems to be always headed right for your face? The show, based on a 2016 Sky Media series written and directed by Julia Davis, follows a weekend of “tested marriages and woman-on-woman crime” which likely describes any camping trip David Tennant gets invited on.
